Latest reviews of Poultry Keeper app for iPhone and iPad
App is a rip off
Dont purchase...no content.
Hmmm..
Good app if you want a reference to chickens at your fingertips; bad price.
The photos are mostly from flickr, and the info could be a tad more descriptive.
I think that a good price for this app would be $2.99 at the very most.
Rip Off App!
Overpriced Ripp Off App! Commentary used can be found elsewhere! Do yourself a favor and simply google or wikipedia what youre looking for and youll have more sucess!
Really is a big rip off!
I saw the reviews, but I have a gardening group that was looking for some type of good reference on chickens. I went ahead and bit the bullet for the group to see what it is. Its a shameful app - and shame on me for spending $4.99 on it.
The app has a start screen, a "search" option, which will take you to 1 photo of the bird - I tend to think one that is just taken off the web. You get a small bit of information on the breed. If the app developer actually spent the time truly crafting it, I give them some credit, but I tend to think they may have found this somewhere and just put in app, but I dont know.
If you click on this weird-looking green paper clip/link, you get taken to more info on the breed - straight off WikiPedia.
Unimagnative, bad design, and poor content. It is not an exaggeration to say its a rip off. I dont know if I would have paid money for this at all at any price had I seen some type of app demo. Its no wonder the support lnks for this app dont work.
Save your money
Ripoff! Too much money for too little information (lifted from other sources, at that)!
